Richie Webb is an award-winning British comedy writer, actor and composer. He was educated at Wolverhampton Grammar School. As a writer and performer, he is perhaps best known for his work on BBC Radio 4 comedy programmes. He began his career as a member of The Cheese Shop and went on to have regular musical comedy slots on both Week Ending and Parsons and Naylor's Pull-Out Sections. He is currently co-creator and star of 15 Minute Musical which won the 2009 Writers' Guild Award for Best Radio Comedy and a regular on Broken Arts and Look Away Now. He is also a prolific composer of music for television - often with partner music producer Matt Katz - contributing to many comedy programmes, such as That Mitchell and Webb Look, Headcases, Dead Ringers and Coming of Age, as well as to a large number of children's programmes, such as Horrible Histories, My Almost Famous Family, Jackanory, Doodle Do, Bamzooki, Bear Behaving Badly and Ed and Oucho's Excellent Inventions.
